Motorcycle enthusiasts can attend fall swap meet

Court House Custom will host the 2015 Fall Swap Meet this Sunday and is inviting all motorcycle enthusiasts to enjoy.

The swap meet will be held at 839 Columbus Ave. in Washington Court House and will include many parts from such brands as Harley, Triumph, Vintage Chopper and even Honda and Yamaha. Court House Custom is encouraging motorcycle enthusiasts to join in on the event by bringing old parts to sell or to buy. Some of those much needed or long sought after parts will be available from local vendors.

“We have done it for a couple years now off and on after going to a big swap meet in Greenfield,” Court House Custom co-owner, D.J. Jenkins, said. “We wanted to hold a smaller, more personal swap meet here in the county to support our own local vendors. As long as those vendors who let us know they are coming show up, they will be set up for free to sell their parts or other motorcycle items.”

If it is not possible to RSVP, Court House Customs continues to encourage vendors to come the day of the event, as they are going to attempt to accommodate any vendors who want to sell.

“We have decided to donate all of the money from no-show vendors to the Southern Ohio Buckeye Bikers,” Jenkins said. “This group helps veterans around the county and it goes toward the bike rally for next year as well. We would love to have people come out and help to support local vendors. We really enjoy holding and promoting local motorcycle events and are trying to further the cause of motorcycle-related groups here in Court House.”
