Harness racing was the featured attraction at the grandstand at the Fayette County Fair Wednesday evening.
There were 12 races on the card.
The fastest time of the night was turned in by Two Friskie in the ninth race, covering the one mile distance in 1:58.4.
Hooray For Willie won the fifth race, paying $83.60 to win.
Also in the fifth race, the trifecta of 6-4-5 (Hooray For Willie, Diplomats Mistress and Can’t Lose) paid $232.40.
The trifecta in the tenth race (3-6-2, Bet On Chip, If I Could Count and Hello Chipper), paid $177.40.
There will be 13 races at the fair Saturday, beginning at noon.
The Fayette County Classic race will wrap up the afternoon card.
