The Washington Police Department responded to the following calls, according to reports:

JULY 20

LARCENY: Betty Wonderleigh reported that while shopping at Kroger, someone removed a small red bag from her purse containing several pieces of her jewelry and her credit cards.

LARCENY/COMPLICITY: A Walmart employee reported that Matthew Dunn and Roberta Dunn selected items from the store and then attempted to return the items for store gift cards without paying for the items. Both were arrested and charged with theft and complicity to theft.

LARCENY: Patrolman Heinz observed Martin Hoagland exiting Walmart with items concealed in his pants. Patrolman Heinz stopped Hoagland and found Hoagland had concealed packs of steaks and cheese in his pants. Martin Hoagland was arrested and charged with theft.
