The Washington Police Department responded to the following calls, according to reports:

JUNE 25

THEFT: Walter Mann reported that someone removed his 2000 Lincoln Navigator from where it was parked in front of his residence on East Paint Street.

JUNE 26

THEFT: Mary Stolsenberg reported that someone removed wicker patio furniture and a homemade planter from the front porch of her residence.

THEFT: An employee of TSC on Columbus Avenue reported that they observed a male conceal merchandise and attempt to leave the store without paying for the items. Jamey G. Wamsley was arrested for the offense.

JUNE 27

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Amy McGregor reported that sometime overnight someone damaged the driver side tires on three vehicles parked at her residence.

VIOLATION OF PROTECTION ORDER: Officers responded to a complaint of a male and female being together, which is a violation of a current protection order. Both the offender and victim in the protection order were located at Mid-Ohio Marine on Columbus Avenue. The offender identified as Remick D. Ramsey was arrested for the offense.

BURGLARY: Neil Wolfe reported that someone entered his residence and removed an X-Box One game system.

THEFT: Wanda Woods reported that someone removed her 2000 Ford Focus, cell phone and prescription medication from her residence.

JUNE 28

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: Thomas Wheeler reported that someone damaged his 1997 Chevy.

BURGLARY: Samantha Self reported that someone forcibly entered her apartment and removed property.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY/DRUG ABUSE: Ptl. Jeff Heinz reported a stolen vehicle being operated in the 1200 block of Columbus Avenue. After stopping the vehicle, the driver then fled the area on foot. After a short chase the driver was apprehended. During the arrest, officers found the subject to be in possession of drug abuse instruments,and methamphetamine. Thomas Cornett has been charged in the incident.
