According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:
Nov. 6
Weapons While Intoxicated: At 8:52 p.m., officers responded to Maple Street in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers observed an altercation involving a firearm. David Workman, of Maple Street, was arrested in the incident.
Nov. 5
Underage Consumption/Curfew: At 2:32 a.m. while on patrol, an officer observed several subjects who did not appear to be 21-years-old entering and later leaving an alcohol establishment. The vehicle the subjects departed in was stopped for an equipment violation. Three male juveniles were charged with underage alcohol consumption. One of the juvenile males was also charged with curfew violation. Taylor Bond, 20, was charged with contributing to the delinquency/unruliness of a minor.
Nov. 4
Theft: At 1:30 p.m., Douglas Hyer reported that he discovered several checks were written that he did not write. The checks had already cleared and the amounts were removed from his account. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.
Theft: At 2:43 p.m., officers responded to Walmart, located at 1397 Leesburg Ave., in reference to a theft complaint. Loss prevention advised that an unknown person departed the store without paying for merchandise. A report was taken.
Warrant/Drug-Related Charges: At 6:45 p.m. while on patrol, an officer observed a wanted person in the area of Bluestone Inn, located at 1809 Columbus Ave. The warrant was confirmed and the male was stopped and arrested. During a search incident to arrest, the male was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a needle. Zachary Burgess was arrested on an outstanding warrant, possession of drug abuse instruments and possession of drug paraphernalia.
