Meet Pepper, the Fayette Humane Society’s Pet of the Week! Pepper is a very special cat. As a kitten, he had a defect in his chest and diaphragm. We were unable to completely repair the defect, and this caused him to have some trouble breathing. He went to a loving home for the time he had left. Now Pepper is back with us at 2-years-old (his owners were moving and could not take him), he weighs 12 pounds and breathes normally.
