Washington tennis falls to Chillicothe

On a sunny, low humidity with a comfortable breeze Tuesday, Sept. 7, the Washington Lady Lion tennis team hosted the squad from Chillicothe High School for a Frontier Athletic Conference match at Gardner Park.

Chillicothe won the match, 4-1.

At first singles, Addy Newsome lost, 0-6, 0-6.

At second singles, Sofia Siscoe lost, 0-6, 0-6.

At third singles, Abby Rose lost, 0-6, 3-6

Joshalynn Worth and Tristan Hammock won the first doubles match for Washington, 6-2, 7-5.

Deseray Williams and Siddhi Patel lost at second doubles, 1-6, 3-6.

Washington will host FAC opponent Jackson Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
