JACKSON — The Washington Blue Lion varsity baseball team traveled to Jackson for a Frontier Athletic Conference game with the Ironmen Monday, April 26.
Jackson won the game, 10-1.
Tanner Lemaster started for Washington and pitched 4.2 innings, taking the loss. He allowed seven hits and eight runs (all earned) with four strikeouts and three walks. He hit one batter.
Evan Lynch pitched 1.1 innings in relief with three hits and two earned runs, one strikeout and one walk.
B. Kuhn started for Jackson and pitched 5.1 innings to notch the win. He gave up four hits and one earned run, striking out 11 and issuing three walks. He hit two batters.
Crustenburg pitched 1.2 innings, striking out two and hitting one batter.
Jackson scored twice in the first and four times in the second.
It remained a 6-0 game until Washington batted in the top of the fifth.
Lemaster led off with a double and Brayden Howard was sent in to run for him.
With two away, Howard scored on an error.
Jackson scored four more runs in the fifth.
John Wall led Washington with two hits.
