The Washington Blue Lion track teams hosted their annual invitational Friday, April 16.
The McClain Tigers won both the boys and the girls meets.
Washington was fifth in the girls’ meet and sixth in the boys’ meet.
For Washington, Jeleeya Tyree-Smith won the high jump, clearing 5’ 0”.
Chloe Lovett won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 16.80.
Lovett was second in the 300-meter hurdles in 49.11.
Jacob Stone won the pole vault for the Blue Lions, clearing the bar at 13’ 0”.
Sterling Smith won the shot put with a throw of 46’ 9”.
Paris Nelson was second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.35.
The Blue Lions will host Wilmington Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
