The Miami Trace tennis team won its final match on the courts at the Club at Quail Run Monday, a solid 5-0 romp over Unioto.

Miami Trace will have tennis courts installed on the MTHS campus in time for the girls’ season in August.

Miami Trace improves to 5-8 on the season.

On Monday, both schools played their Sectional tournament line-ups.

At first singles, Ely Schirtzinger beat Jacob Shuman, 6-0, 6-2.

At second singles, Todd Peterson defeated Caitlynn McKell, 6-1, 6-1.

At third singles, Riley Evans beat Caroline Thiel, 6-0, 6-0.
