On Wednesday, April 27, after three attempts, Miami Trace got its match in against Circleville in the round town.
The Panthers won the match, 4-1.
Miami Trace took two of three singles courts and both doubles matches.
Seth Leach defeated Stanley Huang at first singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Matt Fender beat Nathan Gaines at second singles, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Ely Schirtzinger lost to Andrew Pohl, 4-6, 3-6.
At first doubles, Adam Ginn and Johnathan Allen beat Heather Greenlee and Sydney Dowden, 6-2, 6-1.
At second doubles, Drew Stanforth and Todd Peterson defeated Trevor Wellington and Dalton Herron, 5-7, 6-2, 10-4. The third set was a proset since the match had been decided, Panthers coach Mitch Augenstein noted.
The Panthers also picked up a win in a j-v doubles match as Elijah Campbell and Coby Seyfang beat Adrianna Havlan and Carley Derexson, 8-4.
Miami Trace is scheduled to play at Washington Friday at 4:30 p.m.
