CHILLICOTHE — The Washington High School girls golf team took part in the Frontier Athletic Conference tournament Monday, Sept. 21 at the Chillicothe Country Club.

Washington was led by Taylor Hixson with a 129.

Kaitlyn Coder had a score of 138, followed by Megan Smith, 142; Kennedy Sutton, 158 and Ciara Coy, 159.

Their team total score was 567.

The next event for Washington girls golf is the Sectional tournament Monday at the Jaycees Golf Club in Chillicothe.

Miami Trace repeated as undefeated FAC champions.

Chillicothe was second, followed by McClain, Jackson and Washington. Hillsboro did not have a girls golf team again this season.

There was a non-conference quad match at Locust Hills Golf Club Thursday, Sept. 24.

Miami Trace won with a 179.

Greeneview was second with a 199, followed by Madison Plains at 226 and Washington with a 271.

Taylor Hixson led with a 63.

Megan Smith had a 68, followed by Ciara Coy, 69; Kennedy Sutton, 69 and Kaitlyn Coder, 71.
