The Division II girls Southeast District Sectional tournament pairings were announced Sunday.

This year’s tournament is a Super Sectional, with all 18 teams being seeded No. 1 through No. 18.

The Miami Trace Lady Panthers are the No. 7 seed with a record of 13-5.

They will play Waverly (No. 10, 12-7) on Saturday, Feb. 15 at noon at Adena High School.

The Lady Lions of Washington High School is the No. 11 seed (9-10). They will play the No. 6 seed Fairfield Union Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1:45 p.m. at Adena High School.

The winner of the Miami Trace-Waverly game is a Sectional champion and will likely play the No. 2 seed Sheridan (17-2) on Friday, Feb. 21.

Sheridan awaits the winner of the Gallia Academy (No. 15, 6-13) versus Jackson (No. 18, 2-14) game which is slated for Monday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. at Logan High School.

Hillsboro is seeded No. 14 (6-13). They will play No. 3 seed Warren (18-1) Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1:45 p.m. at Logan High School.

The winner of that game will be a Sectional champion and play the winner of the Fairfield Union-Washington game in the District semifinals on Friday, Feb. 21 at Southeastern High School near Chillicothe.

McClain is seeded No. 9 with a record of 12-5. The Lady Tigers will play Logan Elm (No. 8, 12-7) on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Logan High School. The winner of that game will quite likely take on the No. 1 seed Circleville (20-0) on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6:15 p.m. at Southeastern High School.

Circleville gets to play either Meigs (No. 16, 4-14) or Athens (No. 17, 3-14) on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6:15 p.m. at Adena High School. Meigs plays Athens on Monday, Feb. 10 at 6:15 p.m. at Logan High School.

Chillicothe is the No. 13 seed (7-12) and will play No. 4 seed Vinton County (14-5) Thursday, Feb. 13 at 6:15 p.m. at Logan High School.

The winner of that game will advance to the District semifinals at Southeastern High School on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.

Facing either Chillicothe or Vinton County will be the winner of the Unioto (No. 5, 16-2) versus River Valley (No. 12, 10-8) game that is to be played Thursday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. at Adena High School.
