WMS wrestlers finish top 5 at Nelsonville-York

The Washington Court House Junior High wrestling team competed at the Nelsonville York on Saturday, Dec. 21.

The kids all did amazing and somehow placed top five as a team with only nine scorers, according to one of the Washington coaches.

Charles Souther, Talon Freese and Lyndyn Gibbs all walked away with first place honors.

Lyndyn Gibbs also took home the Most Valuable Wrestler award for the tournament.

Lyndyn was the very first female wrestler to take first place and also the first female wrestler to get the Most Valuable Wrestler award Honors.
