HILLSBORO — On a sweltering Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Washington tennis team visited Hillsboro to take on the Indians in a Frontier Athletic Conference match.

Washington won the match, 5-0.

Brooklyn Foose won her first singles match, 6-1, 6-3 over Miriam Studebaker.

Shawna Conger defeated Alexia Nicholas at second singles, 6-2, 6-3.

Mei Kobayashi beat Caroline Crouch, 6-3, 6-3 at third singles.

Payton Maddux and Sydnie Hall beat Stephanie Patton and Haley Norman at first doubles, 6-0, 3-0, retired.

Joshalynn Worth and Addy Newsome beat Sara Newsome and Abigail Koogler, 6-1, 3-6 and 10-8.

Washington will host Jackson Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
