MT golf wins tri-match with WHS, McClain

The Washington Lady Blue Lions and Miami Trace Lady Panthers golf teams, along with the Lady Tigers of McClain, held a non-conference tri-match at The Greens Monday, Sept. 9.

Miami Trace won with a team score of 219.

McClain shot a 235 and Washington did not post a team score due to only having three players take part.

Alyssa Butler of Miami Trace was the medalist with a 44.

Libby Aleshire shot a 47 for Miami Trace,;Makayla Barnes, 64; Destinee Butcher, 64; Regan Hagler, 66 and Haley Davis, 71.

Taylor Hixson led Washington with a 72.

Kaitlyn Coder had a 75 and Kennedy Sutton, 79.

For McClain, Brianna Weller led with a 52.

Other scores for McClain: Shayna Beatty, 55; Emma Stegbauer, 64; Kate Willis, 64; Madison Beatty, 70; Alyssa Carroll, 70.

The next Frontier Athletic Conference match is Wednesday at Buckeye Hills starting at 4 p.m.
