The Miami Trace junior high soccer team defeated West Jefferson Thursday evening, Sept. 5 by a score of 2-1.

Pierce McCarty and Bryce Stuckey scored for the Panthers while goalkeeper Jonah Goddard had four saves in a shutout second half.

Miami Trace is 1-2 on the season and travels to London Monday and to Westfall Wednesday.
