The pairings for the upcoming Division II high school softball tournament were announced over the weekend.

Miami Trace (11-4) is a No. 2 seed and will host a game against No. 7 seed Hillsboro (6-14) Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m.

Washington (3-15) is a No. 8 seed. They will play at No. 1 seed Sheridan (20-0) Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m.

The McClain Lady Tigers (10-7) are a No. 5 seed and will play at No. 4 seed Circleville (9-6) Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m.

Jackson (No. 3, 11-8) will host Athens (No. 6 seed, 7-10) on Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m.

Chillicothe is a No. 7 seed with a record of 7-9. The Cavs will play at Unioto (No. 2 seed, 15-4) on Monday, May 6 at 6 p.m.

Waverly is a No. 1 seed (14-4) and will await the winner of the May 4 game featuring Gallia Academy (No. 9, 6-10) vs. No. 8 Warren (5-16).

Vinton County (12-7) is a No. 4 seed and will host River Valley (No. 5, 11-8) on May 6.

Logan Elm is a No. 3 seed (12-9) hosting Fairfield Union (No. 6 seed, 8-11) on May 6.

The Sectional final games are scheduled for May 8 at 5 p.m.

The District tournament will be hosted at Ohio University on Monday, May 13 and May 15.
