MT tennis shuts out Tanks

The Miami Trace tennis team hosted the Sherman Tanks from Unioto High School for a non-conference match on a nice, albeit quite windy day Tuesday, April 23.

The Panthers won the match, 5-0.

At first singles, Isaac Abare blanked Brayden Warren, 6-0, 6-0.

At second singles, Devin Riggs defeated Connor McMann, 6-0, 6-1.

Jack Ivers beat Jared Andres at third singles, 6-0, 6-1.

At first doubles, Rylan Gardner and Caleb Perry defeated Maria DeFrango and Jaidyn McKell, 6-0, 6-2.

Kody Burns and Sebastian Gurruchaga won their second doubles match, 6-0, 6-0 over Skyler Goody and Pranjel Shewale.

There were two j-v singles matches Tuesday.

For Miami Trace, Austin Musser won, 8-1 and Luke Carter lost, 6-0.

Miami Trace has a Frontier Athletic Conference match at Chillicothe Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
