The Washington Lady Blue Lion junior-varsity basketball team completed the 2018-19 season with a home game Monday against the McClain Lady Tigers.

McClain won this game, 25-22.

The Lady Tigers led 6-2 at the end of the first quarter and 12-8 at halftime.

After three quarters of play, McClain held a 20-15 lead.

Washington outscored McClain 7-5 in the fourth quarter for the 25-22 final.

Haven McGraw was the leading scorer for Washington with 11 points.

Aaralyne Estep scored seven and Mia Moats had four.

Iva Easter was the game’s leading scorer for McClain with 12 points.

Macie McCune scored five points and Josie Crabtree and Evelyn Vanzant each added four points.

Washington ends the season with a record of 11-7 overall, 7-3 in the Frontier Athletic Conference.
