Vinton County frosh top Panthers

The Miami Trace Panthers freshman basketball team hosted the team from Vinton County High School Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The Vikings won the game, 37-19.

Jaydenn Terry led the Panthers with seven points. He hit one three-point field goal.

Wesley May hit one three for the Panthers and scored five points.

Garrett Smith, Gabe Campagna and Braden Morris each scored two points and Wyatt Mayer scored one.

Caiden Collins led Vinton County with 16 points and Zayne Kam scored 11.

Vinton County led 8-5 at the end of the first quarter and 22-11 at halftime.

The Vikings led 29-13 at the end of the third quarter.

Miami Trace is now 2-13 overall (0-8 in the FAC).
