Attention any former Blue Lion basketball players who played for head coach Gary Shaffer. Mark your calendar and save the date of Saturday, June 15, 2019.

There will be a dinner and reunion of all former players, coaches, sports reporters, friends or anyone associated with all basketball programs under Coach Shaffer.

The event will be held in the gymnasium at Washington High School.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. for folks to sign in and dinner will follow at 5 p.m.

Information on making a reservation will be made available through the newspaper and social media at a later date.

Folks can look forward to a fun evening of fond remembrances and a renewing of friendships.

The celebration is being planned and presented by Coach Shaffer’s family and friends.
