MT wrestling goes 5-5 at Fricker’s Duals

The Miami Trace wrestling team improved upon last year’s result by going 5-5 at the Fricker’s dual meet tournament at Defiance College.

Miami Trace defeated Tinora, 54-24, Archbold, 45-18, Defiance, 45-27, Padua, 46-36 and Columbian, 36-34.

The Panthers lost to St. John’s, 43-36, Perrysburg, 55-21, Mechanicsburg, 36-33, Oregon Clay, 58-16 and Massion Tuslaw, 46-22.

Individually for Miami Trace, James Munro went 10-0, Dylan Arnold went 8-2, Mcale Callahan was 7-3, Weston Melvin and Grant DeBruin each went 6-4, Titus Lehr, Storm Duffy, Graham Carson and Ashton Curtis were all 5-5.

Luke Anders was 4-6, Jayden LeBeau and Blake Roberts were both 2-8 and Dawson Wallace was 0-10.

The Panthers will host a Frontier Athletic Conference dual with Jackson Thursday at 6 p.m.
