Lady Lion j-v team tops Hillsboro

TheWashington Lady Blue Lions junior-varsity basketball team hosted Hillsboro for a Frontier Athletic Conference game Monday, Nov. 26.

Washington cruised to a 34-9 victory.

Aaralyne Estep was the game’s leading scorer for 14 points.

Jeleeya Smith scored 13 and Haven McGraw scored seven.

Brynn Bledsoe led Hillsboro with five points.

Washington (1-1) is at Circleville Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, Nov. 23, the Washington Lady Blue Lion j-v team played two quarters against Gahanna Lincoln at Reynoldsburg.

Gahanna won this half-game, 30-16.

Jeleeya Smith led Washington with nine points, including one three-point field goal.

Aaralyne Estep scored three and Mia Moats and Haven McGraw each added two for Washington.
