6 local football players receive All-SE District honors

Six high school football players from Fayette County have received All-SE District recognition by Associated Press sportswriters in the District.

In Division III, Miami Trace had three players honored by the district.

Senior Matthew Hottinger was named First Team, All-SE District as a lineman.

Senior Larry Jackson was named First Team, All-SE District as a running back.

Senior Baley Allen was named Special Mention, All-SE District.

In Division IV, Washington had three players honored by the District.

Junior Trevor Hicks was named First Team, All-SE District as a lineman.

Senior Aaron Greer was named First Team, All-SE District as a running back.

Senior running back Kyle Garrett was named Special Mention, All-SE District.
