Four BLT players honored by FAC

The Washington Lady Blue Lions and Chillicothe Lady Cavaliers tied for the Frontier Athletic Conference championship in tennis in 2018.

Both teams finished with a conference record of 7-1.

Four Lady Lion tennis players have received First Team, All-FAC recognition for their respective seasons.

Megan Downing was named the Player of the Year in the conference.

Bethany Wilt, Sydnie Hall and Jennifer Richards were all named First Team, All-FAC.

They will be among the student-athletes honored at the FAC fall sports banquet on Nov. 15.

Jackson placed third in the conference with a record of 4-4.

Miami Trace was fourth at 2-6 and Hillsboro was fifth with a record of 0-8.

Completing the Frontier Athletic Conference’s First Team in tennis for 2018 are: Sydney Humphreys and Mackenzie Humphreys of Jackson and Natalie Drotleff, Abbey Sims-Clark and Ali Gossman of Chillicothe.
