Local trio honored for soccer

Two players from Miami Trace High School and one from Washington High School have been accorded First Team, All-Frontier Athletic Conference honors in soccer for the 2018 season.

Seniors Macy Creamer and Becca Ratliff of Miami Trace and senior Kassidy Hines of Washington were named First Team, All-FAC.

They will be among those honored at the FAC’s fall sports banquet on Nov. 15.

The Player of the Year in the conference is Addie Erslan of Chillicothe.

She is joined on the First Team by teammates Allia Hoosier, Meliah Johnson and Jayla Brown.

Kelli Uhrig and Kerigan Pollard of McClain, Callan Meyers and Molly McCreary of Hillsboro and Brynlee Vermillion and Kylee Castle of Jackson complete the FAC First Team in soccer for 2018.

Chillicothe won the conference in 2018 with a record of 9-1.

Jackson was second at 7-3, followed by Miami Trace at 6-3-1.

Hillsboro was fourth at 5-4-1 and McClain and Washington each went 1-9.
