The Record-Herald has received the following press release from Washington High School Athletic Director Mark Bihl.

Friday is Middle School Night at the Washington Blue Lions varsity football game against the McClain Tigers at Gardner Park.

All middle school student-athletes wearing their jersey, uniform, or team-issued shirt will be admitted free. Parents and/or guardians accompanying their student-athlete will still need to purchase a ticket.

Middle school student-athletes are asked to come in the gate directly behind the home stands at the student section end, directly off Circle Avenue.

Organizers want all student-athletes to line up on the right side of the visitors stands, the side closest to the locker rooms and tennis courts, at 6:15 p.m.

Teams will be announced and the student-athletes will make their way across the field at 6:30 p.m. Once each team has crossed the field, Mary Kay West will take their picture. Student-athletes are asked to remain on the sideline until all teams/students have been announced.
