Any girl or boy in grades 3 through 6 planning on playing basketball should plan on being part of the Little Lady Lions or Junior Blue Lions Basketball league.

The first fundamental city league practice will be Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Washington Middle School. The second practice will be Sunday, Oct. 28.

Boys will practice from 4 to 5:15 p.m. and girls will practice from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m.

After two practices, players will be divided into teams. Games will start on Nov. 11 and end late in November or early December. All games will be played on Sundays at the Washington High School gym.

The registration fee is $20. Every player will need a Little Lions basketball jersey. The cost of the jersey is $15. However, if you prefer, you may use your jersey from a previous season.

Jason Mongold and Corey Dye will be the coordinators of the program.
