The Miami Trace Panthers recognized Sonny Walters during halftime of the Miami Trace-Washington game Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. Walters received a lifetime pass to all Miami Trace sporting events as a small token of appreciation for over 50 years of service to Miami Trace as an employee, coach and mentor to its students — athletes and non-athletes alike. The award was given to Walters by the Miami Trace Athletic Department. Above, Walters is flanked by his wife, Bev and Miami Trace High School Athletic Director Aaron Hammond.
