MT tennis shuts out Hillsboro

The Miami Trace Lady Panthers tennis team hosted a Frontier Athletic Conference match with Hillsboro Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Miami Trace won the match, five courts to none.

At first singles, Anita Pursell defeated Kenzie Adams, 6-0, 6-0.

At second singles, Bayley Thompson beat Johanna Holt, 6-2, 6-2.

Cameron Bucher won the third singles match, 6-3, 6-3 over Miriam Studebaker.

At first doubles, Haiven Pepper and Kyleigh Slone beat Alexia Nicholas and Caroline Crouch, 6-0, 6-0.

At second doubles, Beth Hogsett and Hannah Clemons thwarted Haley Norman and Jenna Wilson, 6-0, 6-2.

There were no j-v matches.

It was the second win of the season for Miami Trace. The first was a season-opening win at Hillsboro.

Miami Trace travels to Jackson for another FAC match Thursday.
