JACKSON — The Washington Lady Blue Lion varsity volleyball team made the trip to Jackson Tuesday, Sept. 11 for a Frontier Athletic Conference match.

The match went back and forth until Washington outlasted Jackson in five sets.

Scores of the sets were 23-25, 25-12, 24-26, 25-20 and 15-8.

Statistically for Washington, Hannah Haithcock led with 17 kills.

Rayana Burns had 10 kills and Brittney Wilson had four kills.

In serving, Maddy Jenkins led Washington with six ace serves.

Haithcock had four and Tabby Woods added three.

Aaralyne Estep led Washington with 28 digs.

Woods had 13, Halli Wall had 12 and Haithcock had 10.

Washington will be back at home Thursday to host McClain.
