The Washington Lady Blue Lion tennis team traveled to Jamestown Wednesday, Aug. 29 to take on the squad from Greeneview High School.

Washington won the match, 5-0.

At first singles, Megan Downing won her match, 6-3, 3-6 (10-8). (Names of the Greeneview players were not available.)

At second singles, Jen Richards won, 6-2, 6-1; at third singles, Brooklyn Foose was victorious, 6-1, 6-1; Beth Wilt and Sydnie Hall won at first doubles, 6-2, 6-0; Brynne Frederick and Payton Maddux won the second doubles match, 6-3, 6-1.

Washington returns to the courts Tuesday at home against Waverly at 5 p.m.
