Jackson wins FAC golf match

JACKSON — The Frontier Athletic Conference held its second boys golf match of the 2018 season Tuesday, Aug. 14 in Jackson.

Hillsboro and McClain tied, both with a 174.

Jackson had a team score of 176, Chillicothe shot a 177, Miami Trace recorded a score of 185 and Washington had a score of 226.

Daniel Haller of Chillicothe was the medalist with a 35.

Kristin Jameison was low for Hillsboro with a 36.

Kobe Penwell placed McClain with a 38.

Tyler Eggleton led Miami Trace with a 38.

Ethan Mercer posted Jackson’s low score of 41.

Ty Rose shot a 44 to lead Washington.

Miami Trace’s next match is another FAC contest at Buckeye Hills Thursday, Aug. 23 at 4 p.m.

Washington has a match with Chillicothe Wednesday, Aug. 22 at home at 4 p.m.
