Vipers go 4-0, Longhorns upset Agents

The Longhorns picked up their first win of the 2015 season knocking off at the time co-leader the Agents Saturday, Oct. 17 in Fayette County Pony Football League action.

Jonah Waters led the Longhorns (1-3) with 82 yards rushing, a touchdown run, a point after touchdown run and an interception. Longhorns ran 33 offensive plays to the Agents 16 plays. Kylan Knapp and Korey Rudd each added a touchdown run. Longhorns forced three turnovers including Karson Runk and Josh Logan fumble recoveries.

Agents (3-1) were held to under 100 yards in offense. Cody Brown led the team with 47 yards rushing.

VIPERS 46, RAZERS 0

The Vipers’ Rishaun Burns ran for 270 yards and five touchdowns as the Vipers stayed unbeaten (4-0) in PFL action. Burns scored on the second play of the contest as the Vipers forced five turnovers converting them into 20 points.

Burns had 181 yards earlier this season against the Razers team. Burns added an interception on defense as well. Jayden LeBeau had an touchdown run and two PAT runs, Jared Seymour added a touchdown run and Tyler Tackage had two PAT conversion runs.

Defensively, Bryce Bennett had two fumble recoveries, Zach Bolen and Preston Reed had one each.

Razers were led by Braydon Kettles with 23 yards rushing as the team was held to net zero yards rushing and five yards in the air on offense.
