Washington High School’s Jordan Behm has advanced to the Division II District tennis tournament, to be held Saturday at Ohio University in Athens.
Behm began the Sectional with a 6-0, 6-0 win over M. Taylor of West.
He then took on and defeated C.J. Craft of New Boston, 6-1, 6-1.
Behm beat L. May of Wheelersburg, 6-1, 6-2, before falling to B. Nibert of Waverly, 1-6, 1-6.
Behm lost to C. Wilcox of Gallia Academy, 6-1, 6-0 and then to L. Carter of Portsmouth , 6-0, 6-2.
Behm is seeded No. 8 at the District with play beginning Saturday at 10 a.m.
