On a very windy, but much warmer Thursday, April 12, the Miami Trace tennis team hosted the Shermans of Unioto High School.
Miami Trace won the match, 5-0, improving their season record to 4-0 overall.
At first singles, Matt Fender beat Brayden Warren, 6-0, 6-0.
At second singles, Nathan Taylor defeated Conner McMann, 6-0, 6-1.
Paul Natzschka won his third singles match over Jarod Andrews, 6-1, 6-1.
At first doubles, Adam Ginn and Isaac Abare blanked Joel Brann and Thomas Quini, 6-0, 6-0.
At second doubles, Brett Lewis and Devin Riggs beat Kalyann Ross and Evan Hatmaker, 6-1, 6-0.
In an exhibition match of all Miami Trace players, Aiden Kingery and Rylan Gardner beat Jake Harris and Braylon Jackson, 8-2 in a pro set.
Miami Trace will be competing in the Logan Elm Invitation Saturday.
The Panthers return to Frontier Athletic Conference action (where they are currently 3-0) at Hillsboro Tuesday.
