Fayette Christian School varsity volleyball beats Milford Christian

The Fayette Christian School volleyball teams played Milford Christian on Friday, Sept. 18.

The FCS varsity team won its match, 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.

“We worked together as a team to come back from a nine-point deficit,” FCS head coach Angela Harris said. “We had a team goal to minimize serve receive errors.”

Lizzie Garren was the top scorer for FCS with 11 kills. She also had 14 assists as the primary setter.

“We will continue working on serve receive to minimize the number of points we lose due to bad passing, as well as working on our front row defensive coverage,” Harris said.

The Fayette Christian School’s j-v team lost to Milford Christian, 25-18, 17-25 and 17-25.

The FCS junior high team lost, 21-25, 25-12 and 22-25.
