Miami Trace 2nd in tri-meet

The Miami Trace varsity gymnastic team hosted a tri-meet on Friday, Dec. 22 in which the Panthers, scoring a 124.15, finished the contest behind Tri-Valley’s 126.5.

Sheridan received a 119.5 team finish.

For Miami Trace, Devan Thomas achieved a second place on uneven bars (8.05) and a third place on balance beam (8.3),

Abby Arledge stood in second place on vault (8.35) and fourth on floor exercise (8.5).

The duo for Miami Trace completed the meet in fourth (Arledge, a 32.45) and fifth (Thomas, 32.2) in the all-around event.

Sheridan’s Sydney Bradley took first place with a 33.8 total individual score.

The Panthers are off from competition until Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 when they travel to Hilliard for a quad meet with Hilliard, Deleware Hays, and Thomas Worthington.
