The Miami Trace junior-varsity boys basketball team hosted the Braves of Logan Elm High School Tuesday, Dec. 5 at the Panther Pit.
Logan Elm won the game, 37-35 in overtime.
The Panthers led 9-5 at the end of the first quarter.
Miami Trace was in front 18-9 at halftime.
After three quarters of action, the Panthers held a 22-14 lead.
In the fourth quarter, Logan Elm outscored Miami Trace, 16-8 to force overtime.
Wyatt Cory led the Panthers with nine points.
Kyler Conn scored eight points, Trevor Barker, Dylan Bernard and Cody Brightman each scored six points for the Panthers.
Brightman hit two three-point field goals and Barker had one.
Trace Smith was the game’s leading scorer for Logan Elm with 10 points.
Logan Watson scored nine, Luke Baldwin had eight and David Harden scored six.
Luke Watson and Gavin Ewing each chipped in two points for the Braves.
Miami Trace will host Chillicothe Friday.
