MTMS wrestling wins Fenwick title

The Miami Trace Middle School wrestling team recently won the Bishop Fenwick Invitational.

Miami Trace wrestlers recorded five first place finishes, six second place results and one third place result.

Winning their respective weight classes were: Preston Reed (86), Weston Melvin (92), Thaddeus Stuckey (104), Kylan Knapp (122) and Jayden LeBeau (150).

Finishing in second place were: Aiden Johnson (98), Alex McCarty (110), Devin Seymour (134), Bryce Bennett (172), Mychal Rose (205) and Blake Roberts (245).

Vincent Munro placed third at 110 pounds.

Jared Seymour (116), Preston Edwards (128), Jesse Benetiz (152) and Luke Hoppes (205) each placed fourth.

Nathan Cline was fifth at 245 pounds and Caleb Bennett was sixth at 128 pounds.
