Lady Cavs volleyball beats Miami Trace

CHILLICOTHE — The Miami Trace Lady Panthers volleyball team visited Chillicothe for a Frontier Athletic Conference match with the Lady Cavaliers Thursday, Sept. 21.

Chillicothe won, three sets to one.

Scores of the sets were: 20-25, 25-19, 25-23 and 26-24.

Jessica Camp led Miami Trace in serving with 12 points and three ace serves.

Erica Marshall led in attacks with 16 kills. She had two ace serves.

Dyamin Baker led the Lady Panthers with 31 digs.

“It was a very tough match,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said. “We had a chance in the third and fourth sets to get the win.”

Miami Trace is now 6-9 overall, 3-3 in the FAC with a match at home against McClain Tuesday at 5 p.m.
