HILLSBORO — The Miami Trace Lady Panthers volleyball team went to Hillsboro Tuesday for a Frontier Athletic Conference match.

Miami Trace won, 25-14, 22-25, 25-17, 25-10.

Kate Leach led Miami Trace with five ace serves, two kills and two blocks.

Taylor Dawson had eight kills.

“We started off solid in the first game,” Miami Trace head coach Doug Mace said. “Then Hillsboro got the momentum in the second game to take the win.”

In the third set, Hillsboro had an early lead.

Miami Trace tied it up at 13 all.

Then Miami Trace slowly took control and won.

Miami Trace started out strong in the fourth set and had control the entire game.

Miami Trace is now 4-5 overall, 2-1 in the FAC with another conference match at Jackson Thursday.
