Jackson golf tops Blue Lions

The Washington Blue Lion golf team hosted the team from Jackson High School for a match during the first season of the Frontier Athletic Conference Thursday, Sept. 7 at The Greens.

Jackson shot a team score of 190 to 205 for Washington.

Mercer of Jackson was the medalist with a 41.

Ty Rose shot the low score of 50 for the Blue Lions.

Also for Washington, Tyler Rood and Brock Morris shot identical 51s.

Brice Cartwright shot a 53, Gabe Arazo, 56 and Caden hott, 78.

Other scores for Jackson: Weaver, 44; Massie, 52; Speakman, 53; Donaldson, 61 and Moore, 65.

Washington will take on McClain in another FAC match Tuesday at Buckeye Hills Country Club.
