The Miami Trace Lady Panthers tennis team visited former SCOL rivals Clinton-Massie Monday, Aug. 21.
Massie won the match, 5-0.
At first singles, Cassie VanDyke lost to Hailey Clayborn, 0-6, 0-6.
At second singles, Anita Pursell lost to Anne Thompson, 1-6, 0-6.
At third singles, Bayley Thompson lost to Nina Lazic, 3-6, 4-6.
Cameron Bucher and Haiven Pepper lost to Claire Carruthers and Hailey Stinchcomb at first doubles, 0-6, 0-6.
At second doubles, Jackie Wisecup and Beth Hogsett lost to Megan Wonderly and Raelee Shulz, 3-6, 0-6.
In j-v play, Miami Trace’s Kenzie Seyfang lost to Jenn Callewaert, 4-8 and the Panthers’ Kyleigh Slone and Lydia Zwoll lost to Paige Wood and Kari Cragwal, 8-9 (3-7 in the tiebreaker).
Miami Trace will play a match in the Frontier Athletic Conference at Chillicothe Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the courts at Ohio University-Chillicothe.
