COLUMBUS, Ohio – FOX, ESPN and the Big Ten Conference Wednesday released some additional 2017 game times and television network carriers, including four more Ohio State games with all of them being played in the afternoon:
§ Ohio State’s home game against Army, Sept. 16, will start at 4:30 p.m. eastern with FOX televising;
§ The 2017 Homecoming game against Maryland, set for Oct. 7, will start at either 3:30 p.m. eastern or at 4 p.m. with the television network still to be determined;
§ The Ohio Stadium matchup between Ohio State and Penn State on Oct. 28 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. eastern with FOX televising; and
§ The season finale at Michigan, Nov. 25, will kick at 12 noon eastern with FOX televising.
It was announced last week the season opener on Thursday, Aug. 31 at Indiana, will start at 8 p.m. eastern/7 p.m. central with ESPN televising, and the home opener Sept. 9 against Oklahoma will start at 7:30 p.m. eastern with ABC televising.
As it stands, Ohio State has start times for half of its regular season lineup with only one home night game out of four determined: the Oklahoma game. Ohio State does not have a noon start yet. Game times are still needed for home games against UNLV, Michigan State and Illinois.
Ohio State has three games scheduled to be broadcast on FOX (Army, Penn State and Michigan), one on ABC (Oklahoma) and one on ESPN (Indiana) so far.
