McClain softball beats Lady Lions

The Washington Lady Blue Lions softball team hosted McClain on Friday, April 28.

McClain won this SCOL match-up, 18-4.

Bolendar was the winning pitcher, allowing four runs (one earned) on seven hits. She walked three and struck out five.

P. Smith went 5 for 5 for McClain, with three runs and six RBI.

Beatty, B. Smith and Stevenson each went 3 for 6 for McClain. Stevenson hit a home run and drove in five runs.

Meghan Tucker went 3 for 4 to lead Washington offensively.

Washington’s game at home with Miami Trace was postponed Monday and moved to Tuesday at 5 p.m.
