Massie beats Lady Lions, 17-4

The Washington Lady Blue Lion varsity softball team hosted the defending South Central Ohio League champions Clinton-Massie on Wednesday, March 29.

Clinton-Massie won the game, 17-4 in six innings.

Washington had four runs on four hits and committed four errors.

Clinton-Massie had 22 hits and no errors.

Megan Tucker pitched the complete game, suffering the loss.

T. Florea got the win for the Falcons, with no walks and eight strikeouts.

Maddy Jenkins had two hits for Washington. She drove in one run and scored two.

Kalee Crowe went 1 for 3 with her first home run of the season. She scored one run and drove in two.

Tucker was 1 for 3 with one rbi.

Annie Semler scored one run for the Lady Lions.

Washington (0-2 overall, 0-1 SCOL) was slated to host Chillicothe Friday and plays at East Clinton Monday.
