COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Jayvon Graves scored the last of his 22 points on a baseline drive at the buzzer to give Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary a 62-60 win over Trotwood-Madison in a boys Division II semifinal Thursday.

St. Vincent-St. Mary (24-5), last season’s runner-up, will play Wauseon on Saturday in Columbus as the Fighting Irish seek their seventh state title.

St. Vincent-St. Mary held the ball the final 27 seconds to set up the shot after Jonathan Williams stole the ball from Torrey Patton. A jump ball ensued and St. Vincent-St. Mary had the possession arrow, which enabled Graves to get his first points in 12 minutes.

Patton, the Associated Press Division II co-player of the year with Graves, had 34 points and 11 rebounds for Trotwood-Madison (26-3).
