The Record-Herald has received the following press release from Aaron Hammond, Athletic Director at Miami Trace High School:

On Friday, Jan. 20, Miami Trace will be participating in the Ohio High School Athletic Association-sponsored Military Appreciation Night as a way to honor our veterans and current service members for their sacrifices in protecting the privileges and freedoms we enjoy as American citizens.

All veterans and current service members will be admitted free of charge and will be recognized between the junior varsity and varsity games for their service to our country.

We will ask that veterans and current service members sign in at the admission gate.

The Miami Trace student section will be dressing in camo and red, white, and blue as well. We encourage veterans and current service personnel to attend and ask the public to join with us in honoring those who have done so much for our community and country.

The Panthers will be taking on the Clinton-Massie Falcons in an SCOL game Friday. The freshman game starts at 4:45 p.m. with the j-v to follow and then the varsity contest. Military members are asked to be at the game by 6:30 p.m.
